I am sad to hear about Karen's passing. We have kept in touch through Facebook since our last reunion...she will be missed!

Who can forget all the days we spent together partying and laughing and trying to make sense of ourselves in this life. We were all a big part of each other's lives as we were coming of age. We helped form each other's views on life and love and we are all better off for having passed through each other's lives. We hope you are in a better place Karen...watch over us.

As I am sure it is with many of us, I find it difficult to comprehend that someone our own age has died.  Just as others in our class have been taken away from us, it doesn't seem fair that someone so full of life is gone.  I am so glad that I reconnected with Karen in recent years and got to spend time with her and talk to her.  I wish I had made more time to see her this past year.  I'm glad that her suffering is over.  She will live in my thoughts for a long time.

I am so sad to learn of Karen's passing.  She was such a fun and sweet person.

Rest In Peace

Lovely Karen, I feel you're still here in spirit and energy in many ways.  We were all going with you to the Friday event before the reunion.  You had your eye on this for months and had it all planned out.  You had wanted to see your dear friends and show them you were okay, as you told Diane and I.  You're finally out of pain now and in total peace.  Karen, you are more than okay now.  You are such a beautiful light; full of strength, hope, great determination, and I miss you!  You will be in our hearts and memories forever.  You have such a wonderful, loving family who I greatly admire and respect.

Karen will never be forgotten and I feel blessed to be able to call her my friend as I'm sure many of you Springbrookers do too!  I will be thinking of her whenever I see a feisty read head and for other reasons too.
