Comments:

In a nutshell:
Graduated from HS and then ... college (UMCP); marriage; pets; parenthood (son Joe); more college (Georgetown); work; law school (Pace U in NY, Catholic U in DC); work (NY, DC); divorce.
New love (Charles); moved across the river to VA; new marriage; new dog.
Took up my love of photography again - had it really been since high school??? More work in the city; pursed my love for art and photography - but have to keep the day job to pay for the equipment and photography trips!!!
UPDATE 2019: (in no particular order) became a mother-in-law; marched in political rallies; donated to good causes; said goodbye to a beloved pet Ivan but got 2 new ones - Disko and Roxie; involved in community leadership (but tiring of the frequent drama); reunited with old and new Springbrook friends; left the job in the city - YAY - now work in the burbs for a labor union - 6 years and counting (YAY); travelled places (though not enough places); still being artistic on the side - have taken up mixed media arts; got involved in the 40th reunion plans; and generally pretty happy!!!

School Story:

It is all a blur!!!

Who do you stay in touch with from the class of 79?

I've lost touch with most folks from high school but seem to have found a few again on facebook - ah, technology!!!

Are you planning to attend our 40th Reunion Weekend?

Yes

As I am sure it is with many of us, I find it difficult to comprehend that someone our own age has died.  Just as others in our class have been taken away from us, it doesn't seem fair that someone so full of life is gone.  I am so glad that I reconnected with Karen in recent years and got to spend time with her and talk to her.  I wish I had made more time to see her this past year.  I'm glad that her suffering is over.  She will live in my thoughts for a long time.
