Ellen Marie Connors Ervin lost her valiant battle with cancer as she passed away at home in Highland, MD, Friday, November 9, 2012, surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her parents Barbara and Daniel Connors; husband Robert B. Ervin (’76) and children Caitlin, Meaghan and Robert B. Ervin, Jr.; brothers Daniel Connors, Jr. (’78)(Diane) and Stephen Connors (’80)(Colleen) and sisters Kathleen Connors de Laguna (’77)(Javier) and Barbara Woollen (’82)(Jeremy); and numerous nieces and nephews. Ellen was the practice administrator at Maryland Sports Medicine Center for more than a decade.
She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and loving spirit and, most recently, for her great courage and strength.

Above all else Ellen was a wonderful person. You never saw her without a smile on her face. As many of you know, she married Bob Ervin(Springbrook), her high school sweetheart. They were such an admired couple. Ellen remained in the area and kept most of her Springbrook friends as best friends into adulthoood. Many were with her throughout her last days and witnessed her courage and strength up to the very end. Ellen will be missed by so many people and even now the emails, facebook posts, and comments continue to be a testiment of her personality, joy of life and never ending kindness. We'll miss miss you Ellen, may you rest in peace. Your spirit will continue to shine through your family and friends.
